The rules of blackjack in its standard form are pretty easy to learn and remember. Every player including the dealer makes a wager. They are all then dealt two cards, with the dealer having only one card face up and the players showing both cards. The players then have several options. the dealer must draw on 17 points or less and stand on anything between 17 to 21. You can stand or stick with the original cards dealt. Hit or keep getting more cards until you are satisfied or bust. You can split if your first two cards are of equal value, which requires you to place another bet and play two hands. You may double which allows you to increase your bet up to double the original amount and receive just one more card good or bad. Lastly, you have the option to surrender or quit the hand. The object of the game is to be the first to reach the sum total of 21. All face cards equal ten points and aces are one point or eleven points.

Blackjack rules in Vegas are pretty much the same as basic blackjack rules. Las Vegas blackjack rules are unique and include the dealer being required to draw on 16 or less, but they are still required to stand on anything that is between 17 to 21. Doubling after a split is usually permitted and players usually can re-split as well. The only restriction is that typically they only allow one card for each split ace after they have been split. These rules can vary though depending on the location.

Blackjack double deck rules are pretty much the same as the basic blackjack rules. The only difference is that the dealer must hit or draw on a soft 17 and stand on hard 17 or greater
